I like a bit of controversy and no one does it better than Benetton. They seem to have received more heated debate about their advertising than probably any other brand, and they aren’t looking like slowing down any time soon. This weeks theme is called ‘Kissy Kissy’ and it very cleverly matches opposing world leaders connecting in a very intimate way. Benetton say the campaign is aimed at fostering tolerance, reconciliation and acceptance. We love them, shame they won’t all get out there as the day they were launched at least 2 of them were instantly pulled due to legal action from The Whitehouse and The Vatican...but heh we’re talking about them, so they did their job.
I daren’t ask which ones are your favourites, but the funniest for me is definitely the Pope looking like he’s about to french kiss Ahmed Mohamed el-Tayeb.
Which do you like the most?
Have a great weekend.
