Project
The launch event for the Climate Change Festival is key in communicating to the people of Birmingham how they can reduce their carbon footprint.
Zulu developed an outdoor vinyl which can be applied to paving, the design utilises a series of footprints leading along three paths to the centre stage where Dame Ellen MacArthur gave the festivals opening speech. The feet list ten actions the public can take to reduce their carbon footprint, such as turning all electrical appliances off standby or using low energy light bulbs. The feet began black with 100kg and as you neared the centre stage the carbon foot print reduced in quantity and changed to bright green, illustrating if all ten actions are taken then the target will be achieved.
